Like many artists I needed to create an income that I could not achieve through my work – video in the Seventies was not a collectable medium. In 1982, with my experience of alternative video production techniques, I co-founded Diverse and spent the greater part of the years to 2004 managing it through several periods of re-invention. That period only allowed me limited personal work and in 2005 I sold Diverse to return full-time to creating in a fine art context.

Diverse, by name and nature, is one of the most recognisable and trusted brands in independent factual television with a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.
